Team Openings

As we build out the Sound Bioventures team, we will look for team members who live the Sound Values i.e. whose style and behaviour is consistent with our values and culture, and can become good investors who entrepreneurs, co-investors and our LPs trust. We will actively look for candidates with background from life science and experience in drug development. Scientific (or medical) education is a must, operating experience in the biotech and / or pharmaceutical industry is strongly preferred, and experience at another venture fund or investment bank is attractive. We are looking for team members that can work independently, as well as part of a small team. We will provide you with the nurturing learning environment with a balance between mentorship and independence as you build your career in the long term. At Sound we have a simple career progression ladder: Analyst followed by Associate, Principal and Partner, in that order. While we will make it our mission to help you develop your full potential at Sound, we will proudly support you in the future, also if you decide to seek other ways of adding value to the biotech sector.
